Hi,

Has anyone ever enabled muticasting between a Symposium server to Webclient across a WAN. We are currently trying to do this, but are experiencing some trouble getting it to work, i.e. we can not pull information from Web Client.

what wan infrastructure are you using?

we had trouble initially but found that our Nortel 8600's would support this.

we had to use a couple of cisco's to set up a tunnel between sites to get the data around

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

multicast traffic & cisco switches/routers have issues with which multicast IP is used.
