Can anybody tell me how to change my MTU. I've gone through the registry and can't sem to find it. I'm using xp home edition.

Try doing a GOOGLE search using the words using XP MTU for a search string, you will find shareware, freeware and other products which will allow you to change the default setting.

Hi clownshoes,
DavidDCSA is dead right on this, try I think they have a free prog called 'tweek TCP' or something like that, it has a changeable MTU setting as well as a pinger prog to detect your maximum MTU so that you can set it to it's optimum!
Good luck.
