MTS gives error returning larger recordset

I have a com object built to return recordsets using a SQL 7 stored procedure that works fine in query analyzer where it returns 599 records. The mts com object runs fine on recordsets withe fewer records, but crashes on larger returns. I get the error 'Method "mymethodname" of object
"_myobjectname" failed ' after the 60 second timeout.

Do i have a configuration property set too low or something, appreciate any help

There is no problem when i return 100,000 records from MTS component.So,i think 599 records is not a problem.You should debug your MTS component to get exact information .

There should not be any problem if you return more than 500 records.just try to debug your components or Try to increase the transaction time for your Componets from MMC.

Dear ;
Are U using this recordset to fill a combo or grid , if yes then what method you are using. May be the error with your method by which you r filling the activex. Try to use bound combo or any other bound activex.
