We are currently running GroupWise 5.5 in two locations, a primary and a secondary domain. The two servers are connected directly via VPN and all inter-server MTA operations seem to work correctly except one from the secondary domain:
- if we select some members of the primary in the Novell GroupWise Address Book and create a group, GW use the GWIA to send the message to this group.
BUT
- if we export the entire Novell GroupWise Address Book, import it into a new address Book, and then create the same group using the addresses from the the newly imported book, emails sent to the newly create group route as they should without using the GWIA.
There seems to be an issue with how the groups decides to route to same members in the primary domain, depending on whether it got their address from the System Address Book or from a user Address Book.
Any insight into this would be appreciated.
