mta errors in exchange 2k

Hi,
I've removed an exchange 5.5 server from my mixed mode 5.5 sp4 2k/sp3 server environment. The removed server no longer shows up in exchange system manager or exchange administrator, but shows up as an event 9318. Is there a way to remedy this ?

9318 is MTA Event.

Server still thinks it exists. Make sure there are no orphaned connectors in the routing group. Also restart the Routing Engine on E2k. If it still happens run winroute and see if it shows the server still. Dan
