MTA Error 1

Hello!

I restarted the MTA (Message Transfer Agent) on my Mail server running Groupwise 6.0 and now I am receiving an error Waiting for task FCS0 to complete...

It keeps spinning its wheals at this point. I try to restart it again and it is locked, I can switch between screens but I cannot end the service???

I hope someone can help, PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE
