I send this message because I need help for us

when I startup my groupwise appears :

In MTA screen : post office closed, when go to details, appears : Information of absent or incomplete direction

In POA screen appears : it is not possible to open the connection, is no answer

The port in MTP is 7101 and in POA is 7100

Some idea??

Check your SYS:SYSTEM\GRPWISE.NCF, it should look something like this....

LOAD SYS:\SYSTEM\GWMTA /HOME-\\SERVERNAME\VOLUME\DIRECTORY\POSTOFFICE_DIRECTORY

LOAD SYS:\SYSTEM\GWPOA /HOME-\\SERVERNAME\VOLUME\DIRECTORY\POSTOFFICE_DIRECTORY

I am crazy!!!!!!!
Please....HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!
I tell you my groupwise configuration :

MTP: [Port 0]
Hold: server/vol1:\gwise\dirdom\bsas\mslocal\mshold\myhdf59
Version: 6

Current status: Closed
LastClosed: LastOpened: Last Closure Reason: Missing or incomplete address information

I load the poa with the Following switchs :
/MTPINPORT-7101 /MTPINIPADDR-100.0.0.1 /MTPOUTPORT-7100 /MTPOUTIPADDR-100.0.0.1

WHAT CAN BADLY THESE??????

PLEASEEEEEEEEE.....HELPME!!, I AM DESPERATE!!!!!!!!

dont use the switches - bad idea - should work but bad way

set the proper address and port on mta and poa objects
do a quick rebuild database on mta and then poa

then load with a standard .poa and .mta file

your paths dont contain any longnames as well do they
stick to naming conventions that obey 8.3
groupwise isnt forgiving with longnames

I change the startup file and I use the standart file ( domainname.MTA and postofficename.POA ) but the problem persist. I add the following parameter in startup file MTA ( /tcpport-7102 ) but the problem persist.-
some idea???????.-
Please....help me....

dont use switches - check the properties of object and make sure they are correct - do a rebuild

check the link config is correct as well

then rebuild -- what is the name of the .poa and .mta
is it below 8 characters

post the .poa .mta and grpwise.ncf here

It already solves it for MY!...thank you for your help!!
