For my talktalk broadband in using a Huawei SmartAX MT882 modem, which connects to a switch with connects to a few PC's and servers.
I have web servers running on several of the machines for internal access, but i would also like to access them from the internet, and for this i need to port forward.
I'm using software realease:V200R002B021 Opal and firmware release: E.37.5.5(2006-05-12.
I havce read many toutoirals on how to port forward, and have tried to use DMZ and redirect, but when I access my router from it's WAN ip address it brings up the router page, not the server's.
I'v haven't forgotten to save the settings or reboot, and i cant fault my workings.
But i have notices that many people have this problem.
So when looking through the setting's i found the Ip route table, and in one of the colums is my WAN IP address, and the 'next hop' is 127.0.0.1, it's self!
So is it acctually possible to port forward using this make/model/firmware, can i get an alternate firmware and if it can be done, how?
