Nobody I have spoken with appears to know the answer to the below, so perhaps someone on this forum might be able to give me some direction.
I am working through the Wrox "Beginning XML 2nd Edition" and am stuck on page 93. The chapter deals with XSLT stylesheets and the example has one create an XML file and XSLT file for translation.
When I enter "msxsl MomAndPop.xml Order.xsl" at the command prompt, I am getting the error message:
"MSXSL is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file"
I read a thread elsewhere that said I needed to install msxsl.exe on my computer. I was able to download msxml.msi from Microsoft and run the installation, but do not think that it installed properly, as I cannot find msxsl.exe (c:\Program Files\MSXML 4.0 is a blank folder on my XP Pro machine). The command, of course, still does not work.
Any idea what my next step should be? I am clueless as to what needs to happen so that I can continue the book.
Cheers -
george
