Hey guys, I got windows XP pro edition with windows plus!..
My visual Basic version is 6.0 Enterprise edition, the following is my problem:
When I try to add a Winsock effect in my form I get a message that I don't have the "proper licenses for this component"

I saw there was an other subject about this but there were no solutions for me in it?

Anyone can PLEASE help me with this because I got a litlle program ready and I only need my Winsock problem fixed before I can bring it out...

TY in advance :)

Hi!

I believe that the problem might be connected with the different Winsock Versions. When adding the winsock control to your application, make sure that you have selected the one that came with WinXP, and not the one that was packaged with VB6.

If this fails to work, you can always find and download another Winsock Control from the Microsoft Website.

I hope that I have been able to help you out with your problem! Jason Brimblecombe
