Hi Guru's,

I have an MST file which I downloaded from Microsoft so that I can install Access runtime 2000 on my Citrix server.

The problem I have is that it upgrded my access 97 program.
I wanted to install access runtime 2000 into a different folder so that I can have both 97 and 2000, which I need for what I am doing.

This has caused a lot of problems as I have had to uninstall office 97 and reinstall it and reapply all the fixes, but it never removed access 2000(I also tried removing it from ADD/Remove programs).

I am going to rebuild my server but I need to know is there a way of editing the MST file so that I can change the default install location.

Thanks.

You need the Office Resource Kit for the version of Office you are trying to load (this case 2000 for Access 2000). Run Custom Installation Wizard and edit the mst. I would make a copy before I did anything, in case something you do messes up the mst. Then use the altered mst file to install.
