MSSQLServerOLAPService is Restarting

My Analysis Services is started acting up today. Its starting and stopping the MSSQLServerOLAPService in the middle of the running a process. So the process is keep failing. Any suggestions woudl be appreciated.

the running process? Build process? or query process? If it is a query process is it excuting localy or remotely?

I am executing on the server.I have right click on the cube and process. Its not my CUBES. Some consultants created for one of our group, now it eneded up in DBA's hand.

Edit the cube And then if you look at the properties of the measures you will see Aggregation type.

THe reason I am asking this is that Distinct Count Aggregations are processed in memory if there are a great deal of distinct values then memory usage becomes an issue. Also the reason I ask about the preaggregations is that if not designed properly distinct aggregations can cause serious problems.

For example in one cuble there 12 measures and all Aggregate functions are SUM.
Any help would be appreciated..

YOu said you have installed SP4 was this the SQL or the AS SP4? AS has a seperate SP file so just applying SQL SP4 doesn't update AS.
