MSSQL & Pervasive SQL on same server

Hello all,

Quick question --

Has anyone tried to run Pervasive sql on the same server as MSSQL 2000? If so any issues or advice?

We are looking to upgrade an application that is Foxpro based and currently resides on a "catch - all" server which is also running sql 2000.

I wouldn't recommend running anything on a SQL Server, especially another database vendors software. SQL Server likes to use all available memory on the server for it self, and it doesn't like to play nice.

Having other major pieces of software on the server can make trouble shooting disk, cpu, and/or memory issues much harder.
