MSSQL NetWorker Module 3.1.0.43 does not work

No matter which client on our network that I choose to install the MSSQLSVR NetWorker Module 3.1.0.43, it does not work. It installs just fine, but when I run a backup from the server, it fails with this error:

And when I open the NetWorker User for SQL Server on the client and click Operation --> Recover --> Copy; the NetWorker User for SQL Server will close completely.

I was having problems with the 3.1 module as well, especially with SQL clusters. Legato couldn't figure it out, so they patched a 3.0 version for me and it worked great. The distributed 3.0 version works well too, just make sure you specify MSSQL: as the saveset and nsrsqlsv.exe in the backup command field. If it's a virtual server in a cluster, follow the backup command by "-a (virtual server name)"
