I need to do a DTS of a prod database into a specified database. the 2 databases are on MSSQL server.
Is there a way or a component that can do so in delphi?

Delphi can do SQL as well as YOU can do SQL from any other interface (or command line script) using its own built in components. Primary requirement is a clear understanding and knowledge of what you are specifically trying to do.

Here's a good place to start:

Delphi Rules!

I think you missed the point, Roo: DTS is a front-end that simplifies ETL-type tasks.

So let me ask mtawk the question that came to mind when I first saw his post: Why would you want to put Delphi in the mix? It makes no sense to me. What is it that you can't accomplish with DTS? Transformations? DTS does that. Scheduling? DTS does that.

What's the point?
