MSSearch, ISAPI extension problem

I've got a DLL that has a function using MSSEarch object. The problem is, randomly, the inetinfo.exe hits CPU usage 25% of a 4CPU'ed machine and starts increasing the memory to 2GB(max). This time scale is between 10-24hours. Approximately 3-4 search made in a minute. In no more then 2 minutes the memory hits the 2GB and server stops responding.
An error "ISAPI extension has exceed crash limit." caought on my eye while browsing the web logs. Any idea?
