I have a customer who is a charity. They have asked me to help them out. They had some one install a donated magix system with voice mail.
The system was set up for 2 digit extensions. They are using all MLX phones. They only have 4 trunk lines.
2 issues:
1. When a caller gets a mesage in the mail box it does not turn the light on.
2. When calling in thru the AA when you dial an extension it just rings back to the operator never rings the extension dialed. But if the operator transfers the call manually it ring the phone properly then goes to the proper mail box.
I do not work on these all the time. But I have set up some. This system was installed by another party. Any help or thought would be would be appreicated.
