MSRS Group Report Totals

Hi

I am trying to get totals in Groups but can't seem to get the results I require **

I can't get the ** figure below to get the unique value for each Dept when creating the subtotals in the groups.

Dept DeptMax Area AreaMax
A 20 A1 5
A 20 A2 10
A 20 A3 5
B 15 B1 5
B 15 B2 10

Total (WANTED)
A 20 20
B 15 15
Total 35 ** 35
----------------------------
Total (Figures I Get)
A 20 20
B 15 15
Total 90 ** 35

Please help
