MSQ problems in ELLIPSE 5.2.3.2

Hi,

I need help to find a solution to the following problem:

Each time that MSQ application is closed, at the red "X" in the MSQ window, the ELLIPSE client is "freezed" and it's necessary to close (trough Windows task manager) all the ELLIPSE applications and login again.

CICS problem ? Client installation problem ? Client configuration ?

You might want to close the applications using

File->Exit - this procedure will close the exe, rather than leaving it running in the background (although if you want to run it again, you'll have to load it from scratch).

If the desktop is still freezing, it could be a corrupt installation.

Re-install the client & try again.

As a final option - raised a work order with Mincom.
 
It's actually not a corrupt install its been a known bug (feature) in the Mincom delphi libraries from day 1. The above description from Adamoh1 is one way to close down without triggering the bug. The other and slightly easier method is to double-click on the application icon which auto triggers the close routine. This is the most likely one you'll see a Mincom consultant use when training or doing a demo.
