Hi All,

Thanks for having me. Just a quick question on MS Project 2010 regarding the timeline.

Where you see the Gantt chart on right hand side of a normal view, how can you ensure that it prints only the months that currently have activities?

Zooming in does not seem to fix the problem - so I was wondering if there was a way in which to change the scope/timeframe by using the timeline chart that runs at the top of the screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks y'all,

CJoQ

Just to make it clearer - if my project starts in January, why is it showing me December? How can I just see the days/weeks/months of my project?

Many thanks,
CJoQ

Hello CJoQ,
The date range in Project always runs from January 1984 to December 2049. You cannot alter that time frame by showing dates before 1984 or after 2049. However, when you print, the print should automatically print from the start of the project to the end of the project.

What version of Project and service pack do you have installed?

Julie
