MSoft ODBC for Oracle gives !

Hello everyone, hope someone can help!

I am installing MSoft ODBC for Oracle V 2.573.6526.00 for use with Oracle Net8 and MS-Query. Im running NT4 SP6 and when I try and connect to Oracle I get an error message. The message is simply '!'. Anyone else had just an exclamation returned by this driver before? Any ideas.
