Hello all,
I got a new router (it's smc but I doubt there is a big difference between the linksys model). My MSN Messenger would not connect since I had the router installed. If I connect the computer back directly to the cable modem, msn works again....The tech support were helpless...any ideas?

I tried port triggering and it didnt accomplish much.
UPnP is enabled

MSNP is one of the Ports that MSN using I believe its TCP Number 1863. In most routers you can do port forwarding to an IP address. If you have a packet sniffer and could figure you what Specific ports are being blocked and forward them to you computer.
