Hi,

During MSN Messenger video conferencing, video and audio are received but not sent

The setup consists of a DLINK 604+ router with A PC running XP Professional connected to the Dlink via ethernet cable. Both parties in the conference are using BT Yahoo ADSL (Dynamic IP).

UpnP is activated on the router and when msn video is running I can see the routings mapped by upnp (in grey) in the router set up screen.

Firmware is up to date.

PC has been placed in the router DMZ so Im sure its not a firewall problem.

Anyone got any ideas? Any guidance is much appreciated!

Totally a non technical reply, but does the same problem manifest using Yahoo Messenger?
Before I knew about UPnP, I found that Yahoo worked first time with video conf, but MSN had issues.
Try it, it will eliminate your router setup perhaps.
