MSN Messenger and SP2

So from reading the previous posts , there is an issue with Messenger and SP2? , This would explain a lot ,

I can open and sign in with messeger , but whenever I try and add a contact , I get an error... , I have tried re-installing and tried installing a new version that what came with xp , all with no success ,

Can anyone point me in the right direction here, How do I get this to work? , Skype is the only other thing that is similiar that I've tried , and it worked great ,

Do you have the same problem if you use the XP built in Messenger known as Windows Messenger?

Messenger was just updated. Do you have the latest version?

Micker - Just updated? , I have one from about a month ago, Can't remeber ver # off the top of my head.. , Will try to get a new copy again tonight , thanks...

I have a feeling it has something to do with my Firewall , I'm running Internet Security 03 , I really should try with 05 ....
