I've installed XP countless times over the last 14 years. It always installs MSN explorer - the multi-coloured butterfly by default. I've only used it once - it took too long to load and popped up a whole load of animated stuff that I wasn't interested in so I never used it again.

Did anyone actually use MSN explorer or were you like me - used once and never again.

I don't think I EVER opened it!!!

Nor me. And I also did a lot of XP installs in my time.

Never. At least on XP. Maybe on an earlier version if there was one. I did click on it today to see what it was about but cancelled out when it mentioned money.

I think it was free the last time I looked at it, either when XP first came out or on W2K. The new ones do mention money.
