I am completely stumped on this one. I am trying to use the MSN Config tool to add ~60 DIDs. If I put in the number to be matched "XXXXXX2001" (X's added to protect the innocent) and the First Extension "201" then put in 60 in the Range and click on add, the tool adds ~60 routes. The routes have the extensions, but no "Incoming Number" field.

Any ideas?

this seems to be a bit of a bug in certain versions of manager
try reducing the presented digit count &you will find it works correctly

Ah! Thank you. It works perfectly now. That probably should have been something I tried first.

One other question pertaining to this.. If I change the presented digit count, but the provider is still sending the full 10, there shouldn't be a problem, correct?

From what I understand the IPO just watches for the first X digits and ignores the rest. Correct?

correct the IPO will take the closest match

Just for curiosity what provider is sending 10 digits? in uk most only send 6 or 4

I am based in Utah. The provider is Electric Lightwave ( They are based out of Washington state and service most of the western US. They are backboned through Sprint. The thing that is nice about ELI is that they are very technically oriented and it's really easy to get them to make technical changes. When I asked how many digits they send, their CO tech asked, "How many do you want?" Very nice.
