msn.com unavailable every couple of days

Over the last couple of weeks, my users have been having trouble getting to msn.com.
I tried to delete the msn entry on our (W2K) DNS servers, but it couldn't do it.
I decided to clear the cache and then msn.com was available again of course. A couple of days later, it went bad again.

Is there any known piece of malware that could cause this to happen? Spyware on someone's computer? I woulf think that would only affect that person's computer, not our DNS server.
