OK, webpages aren't my specialty, but today (4-19-07), I have seen 6 instances where IE 6 & 7 has crashed as soon as you fire it up. The thing in common? MSN.com was the homepage. Change the homepage to anything else (via the control panel), and the problem was gone.

So MSN has a new guy who doesn't know his stuff or what?

It's actually IE that's crashing? Just to be clear, we're not talking about a server error that's displayed in the browser window right? (I've seen that happen for the MSN web site.

Correct, it was IE. IE would hang, then you'd have to "End Task" it, then of course the option to send the error report to Microsoft. Didn't have to reboot any PC's, and like I said, we went into the control panel and changed the homepage (the employees aren't supposed to have MSN as the home page anyway), and it was fine. They fixed it late yesterday though.
