With 2000 you have an option during the install to choose the server by checking independent client with the option "messaging queueing will access a directory service. specify a domain controller running MSMQ...". With XP there is no option in the install, hence there is no association on the MSMQ server. I am not even sure if I am installing as an independent client with XP. Any help would be appreciated.
