.MSL Files and .MMC Files

1. I have a .mmc file in UNIX enviroment, and i dont have a source for the same. Can anyone let me know, if something can be done to read the source file, the input-output cards and the rules from the .mmc file ?

2. I have an event server which runs many msl files. I want to turn off only one particular system (.msl) in UNIX, without shutting the event server down. Is there a way to do it ?

Kindly help me get out of my ignorance.

1. There is no way to uncompile a map. Start from scratch.

2. What version are you running. If you use the multi-process Event Server (or more than one Event server) this is easy.
