Hello,

I have a new MSL 9.2.22.0 with a UC server V4.0.24.0, this is a vApp on a VMware server, the blade is installed and it is licensed

I can not configure the UC server from the Web Console, i can access every page in MSL console, but as soon as i click the button 'Configure UC Server' i get "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage"

I can get to the 'configure UC server' form though the Text Console, however i dont know how to get to the other tabs (Syncronization, PBX nodes etc..)

I verivied all of my Remote Access Information and Local Networks settings, Ive rebooted a half a dozon times, if deinstalled the blade and reinstalled it (from cache and from a CD), the only thing i have not done is to start over and reinstall MSL

Any Ideas, before i start over from teh begining?

Can you try accessing it through firefox? I use that to manage the MSL servers as it seems better at handling the sec settings

you have to use the FQDN when using the web browser not the IP address make sure that FQDN is a host on your DNS server or set it up in your Hosts file on your PC

Same problem, Installed it today, only difference I installed it on a Oracle Virtual Machine.

I will follow this thread

Oracle is not supported
Only VMware Hypervisor is supported using a vApp
Not sure that this is your issue but you will get no support from Mitel using this VM

Add the name of your server( appears inthe top left corner next to the internet exploerer icon) into your local DNS server with the IP Address of your UCA. Make sure your UCA is a trusted web site. I had the same issue and this fixed it.

@Supernova

This Oracle Virtual Machine i'm using is for testing and demo purposes only.

FQDN did the job. Its working.

Thanks

Glad you got it it working

BTW looks like Oracle/Sun VM maybe supported soon as will MS Hyper-V
