Hello All,

Hopefully this one will be fairly easy. How can I force MSIE to open new windows maximized? Or is this possible?

Thanks,

Steve

HA, a silly thing this one.
Open 1 IE window, resize it to the max screen, then maximise it and close it.
Open one again and it should be maximised or alt least the size of the screen.
Of course, if you rightclick the shortcut, properties, you can define to open it maximised, but that's only valid for the shortcut. If the answer is here, mark it, others can benefit from it too.

Hi.

If this is of any use, I use a small freeware program called IE New Window Maximizer. Guess what it does?

I have used this for a couple of years, when I got fed up with trying all of the home-made remedies to make IE open maximized (none of them ever worked for very long, if at all).

It's wonderful. Had no problems with at all.

You can get it from
Hope this helps.

Hey terryISO,

In the immortal words of Bruse Springsteen, 'You're the goods!"
IE New Window Maximizer is exactly what I was in need of - and best of all it's FREE! I don't know about you, but FREE is my favorite 4-letter-word that starts with "F"!

Thanks for enlightening me!

Regards,
Steve
