MSI Rg60g AND LINKSYS WRT54GC build a wireless bridge (client – server)
About the Rg60g
I purchased two of this units because of an emergency to build a WDS (and price was cheap)
The WDS finally couldn’t setup and got to make another network
I sold one but I still have one hard to sell.
At my home I have a linksys WRT54GC small and faithfull for months.
The point now is that I’d like to know if I can connect a
Linksys WRT54GC (C for compact) and the rg60g to make a bridge, I mean one of them as server and the other as client.
My intention is to broad the wireless coverage of my home network
The configuration of the server is know by almost everybody, but the configuration of the other router as client is the interesting.
Also I know that if one has several wireless devices in bridge, the total bandwidth gets divided by the number of wireless elements.
Some hints?
