MSHTA error upon shut down of machine

i have a new dell laptop that when ever the user shuts down his machine he is getting an MSHTA error asking him to cancel or end now.

anybody have any ideas on how to resolve this issue?
 
Run any spyware checkers? Looked at any logoff scripts that may be running? What processes are running before he shuts down?
 
How is it if you use Safe Mode, or another User from Normal Mode?
