Using Win 98 ME, recently opened emails and next time started PC boot sequence failed, went to blue screen then reported fatal exception 0E at 0028:C02980CC in VxD VWIN32(05)+00000BF4. Have used startup disk to get to DOS prompt and also tried reinstalling upgrade cd but no effect,, need to copy large files to another computer if formatting of the existing C: drive is necessary. Any help will be greatly appreciated
