msgbox question 1

Using Access 2000, can someone give me an example of a carriage return command for a message box? I have a book that says to use the @ symbol as a carriage return, but it only seems to work if the message box is launched via a macro instead of code. My goal is to have a message box with multiple lines of text, instead of one long line.
