When I run system evaluation it shows /dev/mapper/VolGroupIBMHA-LogVol04 100% capacity in /msg/database.

I think this is log files that are filling up my space is the a good assumption? If its messages in mailboxes how can i tell which mailboxes are using the most space?

This is stopping messages being left

On the MSS you can run the Load report under Reports, Messaging Measurements. It will show how many subscribers are over threshold but will not show you whom. It will also show how much storage you have and how much is used.

I don't know of any other reports on the MSS or MAS that would help you see this information without engaging Tier 4 at Avaya to use their level of viewing of the Linux.

On this MM how large of space is allocated per COS?

98% of the mailboxes are using COS 1 which is set to 35 minutes per mailbox and 45 days retention. I saw on one of the many things I looked at yesterday that this could equate to about 16MB per mailbox of available space.

Question... have you recently changed from GSM to G.711 audio encoding?

What server type are you using?

Nope I have been escalated to tier 4 and they are making us reinstall the MSS

Was this in the installation phase when you received this message?

nope been running for over a year

No changes to linux. The only thing that had changed on the server was adding mailboxes.

patch 9.0 I think that 9.3 is out now but tier four did not recommend we add that once we reloaded the system. They just had us go back to 9.0

SP9 is fairly new. Had you applied the latest SP when this problem occurred?
