Either text message left by extension 173 or voice mail message from extension 173.
Do you use voice mail (VMIB board in the Aria)?
Press the messa ge key to see what happens.

Hello again,

The problem is I cannot see any message key? Where is located?

What type of telephone? LKD or LDP or?

If you see [MSG:173] in your display, then there should be a blinking message key, that you can press. After having called 173 this message should disappear.

To listen to voive mail messages from a LKD-30D system phone:

Listening to voice mail from the system phone:
Press the flashing MSG button, whereby the following options are available:

[HOLD] allows you to listen to a message that is saved, and proceed to the next.
[MESSAGE] allows you to listen to a message and hear it again and again ...
[CONF] allows you to listen and delete a message, and proceed to the next message ..

This is only if you have the voice mail board installed.

With NO voice mail board in the ARIA a local caller can
leave a "message", if your phone is busy.

The caller can press the [MESSAGE] key if he/she hears a busy tone or the Do-not-Disturb tone is heard.

On the display of the called telephone [MSG:XXX] is displayed, where the XXX correspond to the number of the telephone who has called.

To delete the content of the display:
press the [MSG] button, and then the [DND/FWD] button. End with pressing the [HOLD/SAVE] key.
