Does Office 2007 ship with the Microsoft Script Editor or is it only with VBA? Can't find it anywhere or any option to get it to self install.

From the Office 2007 Resource Kit documentation

MSE
Description: Microsoft Script Editor (MSE) is removed. Documents that contain scripts and that are upgraded to the new file formats lose the scripts without warning.

Reason for change: The removal of this low-use feature increases security.

More like removal of a badly advertised feature. It was high-use for me, esp for editing vbs, js, wsf and hta files. Oh well, I suppose I'll have to move it across from an earlier version.

May be so, but sadly not for the majority of Word or Excel users I'd guess. SO I can kind of understand why they pulled it from the suite. But to remove scriots from existing documents without warning is rather nasty.
