I am trying to set up backup proceedures using this utility, but am unable to locate it on the CD or on the sharepoint server itself.

Can someone point me in to where I can find the file?

Hello,

Are you using SPS2003 or SPS 2001?

If I am not totally mistaken this utility is only available for the Portal 2001 version.

We are using 2003. I have seen a few Microsoft KBs that refer to this script and have SPS2k3 as one of the supported items.

Hello,

I tried to find the script but with no luck here either, I guess that it is on the Portal 2001 CD or installation. It does not seem to come with any 2003 CD's or installation directories.

There are other tools for SPS2003 that you can use and then just create your own script or batch file to run the backups as a scheduled task.

Check the Administration Guide for SPS2003 and you will have some information about it there.
