I have an Access DB that I want to convert to MSDE including data. How do I go about doing it using SQL Server Developer

If you are using Access 2000, suggest that you familiarise yourself with the UpSizing Wazard. You'll get to this via the Tools, Database Utilities, Upsizing Wizard menu options.
This is a good starting point.

Another tool available form SQL Server install, and I think MSOffice Professional, is the "Import Export Data" tool, which allows you to transfer data between platforms.

Hope this helps,

I'd also suggest that you get the book "Microsoft Access Projects with Microsoft SQL Server" by Ralf Albrecht and Natascha Nicol. It's published by Microsoft and has their part #X08-42094.

It's an excellent reference book and guide to using Access Projects and both SQL Server and MSDE and includes excellent help on installing and using SQL Server.

Even if you are going to use Access rather than Access Project, I'd still highly recomment the book. It's the first reference I've found that even discusses MSDE to any great length and with worthwhile help. Worth the $60.
