IN ACCESS PROJECTS OF ACCESS 2000, THERE EXISTS AN ALTERNATIVE TO 1 MDB FILE. IT'S CALLED MICROSOFT DATA ENGINE WHICH HAS A FRONT ADP FILE CONNECTED TO BACK MDF FILE. HAS ANYONE USED IT, I WOULD LIKE TO BUT NEED MORE INFORMATION ON HOW TO MIGRATE A CURRENT ACCESS 2000 MDB INTO MSDE'S FORMAT. ANY IDEAS WELCOME.

MSDE is basically a stripped down, freeware version of SQL Server. Of course it doesn't have all the functionality, but I would guess that migration would be pretty close to that of SQL Server
