What is the concensus out there as far as what database to use when installing SQlServer. Since we will eventually be using Crystal Analysis then we will be needing SQl2000 at that time anyway. So I'm thinking we might as well bite the bullet and purchase the license for SQL2000 now instead of later. Also, it would be easier to perform backups of the APS database using SQL2000 as MSDE (unless something has changed) has no interface for performing backups. Any help out there from experienced CE9 administrators would be helpful.
