MSDE Distributions Rights

Hi,

I want to develop some web solutions for some clients and they dont have SQL Server. I was thinking of using MSDE as there backend.

Is it legally ok for me to put my web solution and MSDE on a CD and distribute it ?

I have read the MSDE licensing agreement and its confusing.

Yes. You just need to register so that ms can tell you of any updates.
Make sure you distribute with sp3a.

msde is one of the few performing free relational databases (unlike mysql which isn't free but people think it is).

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
