MSDE 2000 Release A Install Hangs - HELP!!!!

I am attempting to install MSDE 2000 Release A on a Windows 2000 advanced server. When the install attempts to run the following command, the install stops responding:

Executing "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\sqlredis.exe /q:a"

Has anyone heard of how to get fix this.

How are you installing this? Are you following the install instructions provided with the file?

I only ask because I have installed this release many times without problems but do know that not having the correct command line parameters can cause you problems.

I am following the instructions. I've also installed this application many times, and this is the first time I have run into any problems with it.
