The save set is (legacy one):

ASR:\
C:\
SYSTEM DB:\
SYSTEM FILES:\
SYSTEM STATE:\

I have turned off VSS on the client:

VSS:*=off

It is very important that above mentiones files are backed up. I do not know what the problem is..

Its a mssql database running, you cannot save these files while the database is up and running without using vss Snapshots or an SQL businewss Module for networker.

If its an msde you can enable VSS and backupm this Files.
If its a full SQL server this is not possible, you to use the mssql module.
If you dont have it you can use savepnpc as the backup attribute and use
net stop <sqlserver Servicename> /Y as the precmd
and net start servicename as the postcommand.

If you are not familiar with savepnpc :
Enter and read the admin guide for your networker version.

The SYSTEM save sets includes the System State, System Files, and System DB.The system state must always be backed up at level full (partial backups are not allowed). SYSTEM FILES As with the other SYSTEM save sets, when a backup of the SYSTEM FILES save set occurs, it is always at level full. However, a requested backup of the SYSTEM FILES save set is performed only if one or more of the system-protected files have changed ..."
That is taken from admin guide. No snap shot, no VSS etc. That is exactly what to expect.
