When clustering 2 MS2K Servers am I right to assume the following

EACH server in a 2 node cluster has there OWN IP ADDRESS on the Network

ONE VIRTUAL IP ADDRESS exists for access to the server resources on the
network

All users which need to access data on the server use it via this VIRTUAL IPADDRESS

Does this virtual IP Address have to be manually added to the DNS record or
does that happen itsself?

I understand that each Serrver in the node has its own Host Address andseparate IP Address registered...but how does registration of the Virtual IPAddress and its Name occur?

IP Address registration will be done automatically on W2K Clusters. Remember if your running SQL 2000 and the likes you'll need another IP Address too
