Hi,

We are preparing to implement a MSCS Cluster on Windows 2K3 Enterprise Ed with 2 nodes. From what I understand, MSCS Cluster requires 1 Public IP, 1 Virtual IP, the one clients use to connect to the server, and 1 IP for heartbeat. Our network is setup as 10/100 Mbs. I want to setup a backup server with tape drive. I want to create a separate GB network which will connect to the MSCS Cluster, but using a separate Public, Private and Virtual IP, all based on GB NIC so that they can transfer files to the backup server over a 1GB network. The question I have is can I setup 2 MSCS cluster groups on 2 nodes which are based on totally separate networks. I hope what I plan on doing is clear, but if you need further info, please let me know. We are going to receive our hardware and software in the next week or two, so by then I have to figure out all probable implementations.

Thanks for you time and help in advance.

Dave
