Greetings,
I am coding newbie. I have a friend that wrote an application (VB 6.0)that allows a person to copy a number string and dial it via modem.
He referenced and used mscomm32.ocx in his app. When I attempt to run the app from some other machine, it screams that mscomm32.ocx is referenced, but can't be found.
I am looking to rewrite the app in VB .Net. What replaced mscommm32.ocx. I believe these controls go as far back as vb 4.0. Is this part of the .Net framework now or am I overlooking something simple?
Thanks
