Gonna try this again. I need to write code that polls a modem connection and disconnects it if has been running longer than 45 seconds. This is for a credit card machine that takes up to 2 minutes to finally time out. I need to be able to do this, because our vendor has not come up with a solution and the people in the gift shop are driving me crazy because it takes so long to timeout. I need this to be fixed before this weekend because I live 60 miles from the shop.
